A week at Cottage Grove
Review by Mary C.
This cozy cottage is small. Best for a couple as there is no space for privacy. It is sweet, located in a small grove of other cottages, and had what I needed to enjoy my time there. It is rustic and some furnishings could use an upgrade. But overall I enjoyed the stay, the location and the surroundings. The National Sea Shore is close by as well as some favorite restaurants.

Cute but too small..feel the cabin was not in tip top welcoming internet, couldn't make tv work, had to buy 3 lightbulbs, welcome book pages stuffed in drawer...lack of care!!! No toilet paper. Common guys, you can do much better !

We were horribly disappointed for the amount of money paid. Arrived to a dirty front porch and a tired, old, dinghy interior. We asked about both the cleanliness and having no WiFi...for the entire week. The agent, Kathy, came by to see the condition of the cottage, unsuccessfully attempted to help with the WiFi, and said she would get in touch with the owner who was in Sweden. We also mentioned that the refrigerator and freezer were not working properly. Either way, nothing ever came of it and we left with no response or action. We also experienced a very unfriendly “owner” of one of the other cottages who complained when our dog accidentally got out twice. Even with a sincere apology and efforts to be more careful he continued to not only be unfriendly but left a copy of the “rules” on our windshield. Overall, NOT happy and feel we should be compensated for the lame conditions and service from the realty company.

Quaint Cape Cod Cabin
Quaint, old-time Cape Cod experience. Very clean. Everything is small, a little pricey. You can work your way down a back trail to roads that will take you to the Rail Trail for biking.
