An okay cottage with a few exceptions
This cottage was mostly as advertised. It was clean and had the usual beachy decor you’d expect in the Cape. We were traveling with 3 kids under 8 years old and the upstairs bunk room was great for kids. The basement game room was also a great bonus space. The location is nice in that it’s relatively close to everything (shops, pay-to-park beaches, restaurants, etc). Cons: The only a/c units were in the bedrooms so the main living space got quite hot and humid. There really should be a better hand railing on the stairs leading up to the bunk room, it’s steep for children.

Oh my goodness! I have searched our records to find out where things went awry during your stay. I was able to locate one email from you that was sent upon arrival 6/25/22 addressing some minor pre-existing damage as follows: "Just reporting that the bread drawer in the kitchen is broken and a piece of trim is removed (not clear where it belongs). Pics attached. No problem for us but letting you know." If there are any other communications that were not addressed during your stay, please let us know! Our goal is to address all service matters in a timely manner with as little disruption to your vacation as possible. Concurrent with your concerns, we shall assume that you would not recommend the property to parties with children under the age of 8 and that you feel that the property is better suited to persons over a certain age and that you would prefer a location that is much closer to the beach. Get a jump on next season by putting in your reservation request today! Thank you for your input! We appreciate your time.

The place was ideally situated near Skaket Beach and was clean and quiet.

Tucked away and private and yet SO close to all the special features of Orleans. We hope you had the chance to see an amazing Skaket sunset and that we will get to see you again soon!
