Saturday + Sunday + Monday, October 6 – 8
Festivities include a craft fair of more than 125 crafters from all over the country, continual musical entertainment, high‐quality children’s events, a kayak and canoe race, sand sculpture contents, 5K road race, pie‐eating contests, and a spectacular fireworks display!
Saturday + Sunday, October 13 + 14, all day
An annual celebration of the town’s famous oysters, clams and its deep-rooted shellfishing traditions. Wellfleet’s town center comes alive for this two-day family festival that brings together locals and visitors for a weekend full of local cuisine, music, New England brews, art and crafts, a 5K road run, a tennis Round Robin, a marine-themed spelling bee and much more. Don’t miss the OysterFest’s most popular attraction – the Oyster Shuck-Off!
Saturday + Sunday, October 13 + 14
Classic car enthusiasts drive from Seekonk toP Provincetown via historic US Route 6, learning about the rich history and culture of the region along the way. You can see all car rally enthusiasts on Saturday, September 30th at the Cape Cod Chamber Visitor Center (5 Shootflying Hill Rd. – U.S. Route 6 Exit 6) -11:50 am – 1:30 pm.
Celebrating surf culture and all that is positive about riding, sliding, and gliding your way through life. The film festival showcases local and national films and includes a pop-up museum of Cape surf memorabilia with an extensive display of boards. An offering of raffle items with proceeds to benefit scholarships for local high school seniors. Come to see old friends and old boards, leave with new friends and new boards…if you win the raffle!

A down-home shindig to celebrate the famous Eastham Turnip. Celebrate our locally grown purple-topped tuber with all kinds of turnip fun! This unique event includes a cook-off, tastings, contests, entertainment, arts & crafts and a one-stop Thanksgiving dinner marketplace. Tantalize your turnip taste buds with pulled pork & turnip slaw ~ or try crepes (both sweet fillings, and a savory variety featuring, you guessed it, turnip!), seasonal salads, gluten free and vegan oﬀerings, or pizza.
Wednesday, November 21
Celebrates the Pilgrims’ First Landing in America at Provincetown. People from near and far come to this iconic event to see the Monument festooned with more than 3,100 “landing lights” which shine nightly through 1/6. Admission is free, and light refreshments and entertainment are provided.
