Taking your dog for a walk. While there are plenty of open places on Cape Cod to walk a dog, they mostly require a leash.
The Cape Cod beaches are strictly off limits during the tourist season, however leashed dogs are allowed on the National Seashore beaches after 5 pm. There are several dog parks and open spaces specifically for dogs to meet and play off leash.
Note: Clean up after your dog. Mutt Mitts and plastic bags must be removed by the owner.
Cape Cod also has several kennels for day and night care or pamper your pooch with a professional dog grooming while on vacation.
A dog park created in 2008, that provides an acre of land where dogs can run free and socialize off leash. stop here on our way in/out of Ptown so the dogs can burn off some energy.

Great place to bring your dog. There are two fenced in areas with double gates on both. Both have sand/dirt ground, not crushed stone like in Yarmouth. Bring water, bowl and poop bags. Also, access to the pond is not gated.
